Yes! The app is designed to be fully functional without an internet connection. All food data is stored locally on your device.

How do I sync with Apple Health?

Toggle the "Sync with Apple Health" switch in the Daily Log view. When enabled, your nutrition data will be automatically sent to Apple Health when you log meals. You can view this data in the Health app under the Nutrition section.

How do I save a frequent meal?

After adding foods to your plate, press the "..." menu and select "Save as Favorite". You can name your meal and quickly access it later from the Favorites tab or by tapping the heart icon on the search bar.

What do "NFS" and "NS" mean in food search results?

These are USDA database abbreviations. "NFS" means "Not Further Specified" - indicating a generic version of the food without brand or preparation details. "NS" means "Not Specified" - similar to NFS but often used for broader food categories where specific details are missing.
